Age Group Competitive Coaches
Allison is certified at the Competition Development (formerly Level 3) level of coaching, and is a Level 2 Judge. Allison has coached with Winnipeg Synchro since 2009, and has coached several athletes to medal at the Provincial Championships. When she was younger, Allison competed at the elite level of synchronized swimming: highlights of Allison’s swimming career included winning numerous medals at the Provincial level; representing her province as a member of the 2011 Canada Winter Games team; and winning two silver medals at the 2012 Canadian Open Championship (Senior Team Free and Senior Team Technical). Allison has also served on the Board of Synchro Swim Manitoba (the governing body of synchronized swimming in Manitoba). Allison hopes that the athletes she coaches come to love synchro as much as she does. Allison graduated with her Bachelors of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg in 2015.
Molly has coached for seven years, and has taken “Competition Introduction” in coaching. Molly swam for nine years and competed at the National level in synchronized swimming for four years, winning numerous medals at the provincial level. One of the highlights of her swimming career was winning two silver medals at the Canadian Opens in 2012. Molly enjoys teaching synchro to young athletes and bringing to them her love of the sport. Molly is also currently working towards her Bachelor of Arts (Honours), majoring in Psychology, at the University of Winnipeg.
Danielle began her career as a speed swimmer, but quickly changed to synchronized swimming: the combination of music and athleticism appealed to her. Danielle has coached for Winnipeg Synchro since 2012, and has taken Competition Introduction. Danielle had a very successful swimming career, medalling numerous times at the Provincial level; winning two silver medals at the Canadian Opens in 2012; and swimming team and duet to represent Manitoba on the 2015 Canada Winter Games Team. Danielle is currently studying Engineering at the University of Manitoba.
Jillian has coached for Winnipeg Synchro since 2010, and has taken Competition Introduction. Jillian had a long and successful career as an elite synchronized swimmer, winning numerous medals at the provincial and national levels. Jillian loves being around kids and teaching them the fun and creative side of Synchro. Jill also enjoys many other water sports including surfing, skiing, windsurfing, and wake-skating.
